The UK's new relationship with the EU

This essential resource will help food and drink businesses understand the implications of the UK's new relationship with the EU and ensure you stay informed and up to date with the changes needed.

The UK/EU trade deal came into effect on 1 January 2021. There are many changes for those importing and exporting to and from the EU and also to and from Northern Ireland (as a result of the Northern Ireland Protocol).

This page includes some useful guides to help food and drink companies trade effectively with the EU and Northern Ireland. FDF members have access to a much wider range of resources and policy experts on areas including trade, regulation and workforce.
